Doctoral Supervision
The doctoral supervision activity has represented for me a natural continuation of research and teaching. In the relationship with PhD students, it was not only about academic guidance, but also about formulating viable topics, choosing fertile research directions, and integrating them into a broader scientific context.
Some of the theses I coordinated continued directions already present in my research, while others opened up new perspectives, especially in the areas of conceptual modeling, software engineering, artificial intelligence, digital ecosystems, and medical informatics.

Themes and directions
The theses I supervised were generally situated at the intersection of fundamental research and advanced applications: modeling, software architectures, languages, intelligent agents, digital ecosystems, and healthcare information systems.
Over time, these directions have included virtual reality, conceptual modeling, computer-assisted prevention, context-awareness, adaptability in digital ecosystems, and applications for smart objects.
