Youth (1967–1989)
Three periods covering my professional development and the gradual maturation of my research interests, against the background of institutional change and the tensions of the time. Alongside my professional path, this section brings together friendships, journeys, holidays and other episodes that contributed to my formation.
Periods
1967–1970
The final stages of my education and my growing closeness to the world of computers: landmarks, people, readings and decisions that prepared my entry into university life. These years also include the sentimental education remembered in A Window Between Two Ages.
1970–1979
The consolidation of my university activity, my first important projects and the construction of my doctoral thesis, alongside friendships, holidays and personal experiences. The page brings together the professional and personal strands of the decade.
1980–1989
The maturation of my ideas and the transition towards software engineering: articles, systems and conferences, as well as the oppressive context of the 1980s, up to my departure from the country.
